CEO at Imagga and Kelvin Health, is an expert in software architecture and development, computer vision, machine learning and A.I., holding a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and a M.Sc. degree in Technology Entrepreneurship from Sofia University and is currently a Ph.D. student specializing in machine-learning methods for automated image annotation. He is a laureate of many high-school, student, and post-graduate competitions in computer science, information technologies and business planning. He founded Imagga in 2008 with the aim to popularize and apply commercially image recognition and image analysis technologies. Georgi is also a regular speaker representing Imagga at industry events like GTC, GTC Europe, DMLA, BAPLA Focus, and CEPIC. He is a member of the advisory boards of Impact Tech Foundation and InnoRate.
Georgi is volunteering as an assistant professor in the Software Engineering department at Sofia University, teaching Technology Entrepreneurship, and mentor to Eleven (www.eleven.bg), a €12M Acceleration Fund, LAUNCHub, a €9M Seed and Acceleration Fund, in Bulgaria, Founder Institute Sofia, and Junior Achievement Bulgaria.
He has been recognized as one of the “30 (most influential people) under (the age of) 30” in 2013 by Forbes Bulgaria for his achievements in the areas of technology and innovation.
